Congratulations to Paige Parker! The junior pitch from our school (Truman High School) was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Missouri. Paige led the Patriots to a 31-3 record and the Missouri 5A crown during the 2012 campaign. The Patriots and Paige are looking to add to their hardware in 2013. In addition to junior pitcher, the Patriots return 6 other starters from their 2012 State Championship team.
This is Paige’s second time winning this award, the first coming after her freshman season in 2010. She has already committed to attend the University of Oklahoma (2013 NCAA National Champions) on a Softball Scholarship.
